How the estimator works
The estimator reads straight from the equipment database — the 555 pieces whose fields this site has verified. For each slot you choose one piece and the tool adds up the fields that are actually on that piece: the armor value of every armor piece, the damage range of the weapon, the weight, and the union of every stat effect across the set, de-duplicated by label so you can see when two pieces stack the same bonus.
What it shows, and why it does not show DPS
The one thing the tool deliberately does not compute is a DPS figure. Raw damage is a verified range, but attack speed in this game is only a qualitative label — Fast, Medium or Slow — on a handful of items, and that label is not a number you can multiply by. Publishing a DPS figure would mean inventing the attack speed, which this site does not do. So the tool shows the weapon’s raw damage range and, where the database has a speed label, notes it next to it.
Where the pieces come from
Every piece carries its source type — quest,
boss, vendor, loot,
treasure or preorder — so once you have a
set you like, the source badges tell you which of them to farm, which
to buy, and which are one-shot drops. Open any piece in the
equipment database for the full
acquisition detail.
