He does not care whether we go hungry, or if our backs break from endless toil – as long as his coffers are full of silver, and his dining table bends under the weight of food. Food taken away from our families.
I know that the memory of Shrike’s Crag looms over us all. That we don’t want to share the fate of those who were drowned in their own blood over a decade ago. But we must do something. Vale Sangora is our home. It is our work that makes it grow and might yet bring prosperity to our children.
