Defying Death, part 2 is a manual in The Blood of Dawnwalker.
“I found the answers to my problem outside of Europe. Closely following the Arabic alchemists, I was able to discover a collection of works known as the Jabirian corpus. The author, Abū Mūsā Jābir ibn Hayyān, was a bona fide miracle worker. I quickly became fascinated with his writings, not only the ones connected to my own research.
To the point, though. One passage of the Jabirian corpus mentions a method of prolonging one’s life via the usage of more volatile hexes. In other words, harming others might be a key to granting health to the practitioner. Sounds promising.”
