Someone has desecrated the shrine and stolen its heart – typically a saint's figurine. I should take a look around, maybe the culprit left some tracks.

Follow the tracks

The thief was careless and left some tracks behind. I should follow them if I want to reclaim the shrine's heart.

Search the area using Focus Mode

The tracks led me to a nearby military camp. Perhaps the missing shrine's heart is somewhere around here?

Restore the shrine

I reclaimed the shrine's heart. Only thing left to do is return to the shrine and restore it.

Looks like the vrakhiri want to eradicate the old faith wherever they find it – and even send out soldiers to desecrate Christian shrines. I was able to reclaim the heart of one of those shrines and restore it to its former glory.
Since I couldn't waste any more time, I wasn't able to restore the shrine to its former glory.
