Most Precious Thing is the rival expedition inside St. Tyna’s: Brencis’s soldiers want the same relic the library access hinges on. The journal files it under The thirty days and records no region for it — its own entries are what place it, naming St. Tyna’s relic, the convent library, the chapel, the sacristy and the caretaker’s shed, which is the same ground Echoes of Silenced Bells covers. The introduction frames the deal: “Seems I’m not the only one looking for something in this cursed place. I came across some of Brencis’s men, sent here to retrieve St. Tyna’s necklace. They offered to open up a safe passage to the library in exchange for the relic. Something to think about.”
Where the quest sits
The journal ties the quest to Brencis and to the men he sent, and its step list contains both branches of the encounter: hand the relic over, or fall out with them and settle it with swords. Either way the relic itself is the objective, and the journal’s own steps route you through the chapel, the locked sacristy, the caretaker’s shed for keys, and finally the body of the nun who died guarding it.
Journal objectives
The journal records these eight entries, in this order:
- Fulfil soldier’s request to secure a passage to the library — “Here’s the deal: I bring back the relic, Brencis’s men let me access the library. Something to consider…”
- Search for the relic in the chapel — “In order to convince Brencis’s men to let me use the passage to the library, I need to give them St. Tyna’s relic. The chapel seems a good place to start searching for it.”
- Return to the soldiers — “Now that I’ve collected St. Tyna’s relic, I could trade it for a safe passage to the convent library.”
- Search for the relic in the sacristy — “I found clues suggesting the relic was hidden in the sacristy. Let’s see if it’s still there.”
- Defeat the soldiers — “Me and Brencis’s men have had a disagreement – one we have to settle with swords.”
- Search for keys to the sacristy — “The sacristy is locked – which is frustrating. But each lock has a key and, sooner or later, I’ll find it.”
- Search for keys in the caretaker’s shed — “Looks like the keys I’m searching for are in the caretaker’s shed. I need to find it and take a gander.”
- Collect relic from the nun’s body — “I found the relic… Question is, do I have the nerve to pry it from the cold fingers of the nun who died protecting it.”
Before you go
There is no region band recorded for this one, so use the surrounding St. Tyna’s content as your difficulty guide and treat the grove’s level 16–22 band as the practical range. If you are already running the convent, this quest sits alongside the other two St. Tyna’s entries; the St. Tyna’s monastery guide is the location reference and the mid-game walkthrough covers how the chapter routes.
