New to Vale Sangora? This FAQ collects the questions players ask most about The Blood of Dawnwalker — the loop, the clock, the endings, the romances, and where to point your build. Each answer is a short pointer; follow the links for the deep dive.
The loop and the clock
How does the day/night system work? By day you play Coen the human wielding Witchcraft; by night he becomes a vampire with Vampirism and a Blood Hunger to manage. The same character, the same progression, two toolkits. Read the day/night dual form guide for the full picture.
Is there a time limit? The story is framed by an in-game 30-day timer. Running past it does not trigger a game over — you keep playing — but the endings that remain open, particularly the family ones, depend on where you are when time runs out. Treat the days as a pressure dial, not a stopwatch.
Story and endings
How many endings? Several, shaped by the choices you make across the 30 days. A handful are gated behind specific decisions, so if a particular conclusion matters to you, plan toward it. The all-endings guide lays them out.
Are endings missable? Some are, in the sense that a late choice closes off a branch. The missable content guide flags what to do and when.
Companions and romance
Who can I romance? Anca, Crake and Lacra are all romanceable — even simultaneously — and none of the routes are missable. Romance is its own thread; it does not force a specific ending. The romance guide walks each route.
Builds and combat
Which build first? Pick the style you enjoy — Swordsman, Predator or Hybrid — and pour your perk points into that tree. Combat basics covers the verbs; the skill trees overview covers the perks.
How do I get stronger gear? Through the upgrades system: equipment upgrades from the Armourer, Blacksmith and Vera, and perk upgrades at Shrines.
